kpop rule #22
nobody gives a shit how ‘proud’ you are of an idol group.
nobody gives a shit how ‘proud’ you are of an idol group.
the more a song or album is promoted, the less impressive its sales really are. so take idol group sales numbers with a grain of salt.
eating kimchi ramyeon while watching subbed korean dramas does not make you any more korean than drinking a latte and watching italian job makes you italian.
calling yourself a fan of an artist/group after listening to one song is like calling yourself a fan of toyota after sitting in your friend’s camry.
when a friend tells you to check out a new artist, give it a listen before making a judgement. if you tell your friend they suck without listening, stand by your words. telling other people to listen to that artist later is pretty much back stabbing.
think twice before you praise an up and coming group, you might just end up ripping them apart once they become popular.
commenting on a youtube video telling everyone to support the artist by buying their music doesn’t count as supporting the artist.
if you don’t want a certain idol to succeed, making fun of their looks and calling them names on the internet for everyone to see just proves who is making better use of their time.
if you seriously believe k-pop is still a music-first genre, check the views on verbal jint’s “you look good”. then do the same for hyuna’s “bubble pop”.
there’s a reason some idol groups have a bunch of members. it’s more likely that you’ll find at least one of them attractive.
when explaining to someone why k-pop is a genre worth listening to, never, ever, ever introduce them to an idol group.
any guy who can survive without listening to snsd for an entire year either has his priorities straight or is completely unattracted to women.
allkpop is not there for you to complain about chart rankings.
if you buy albums just for the photobooks, i’m afraid you’re missing the point.
sales ≠ quality.
